News On The Horizon 2/13/2010

Mid-Majority Chat Block, Olympic Edition--The Mid-Majority

[Comment From Matt (CT)Matt (CT): ]
Is there reason to believe Butler will make it out of the first round? They're not exactly beating up on the bottom of that league

The Mid-Majority:
I've said it before, but Butler's big X-factor is boredom. When they're playing a team that's clearly inferior, they will choose to put in the absolute minimum of effort rather than snap necks. And it's clear they really have no competition in the Horizon. The question is, will they turn it on when there are real stakes? That's what to watch in the Siena game. Either way, though, I don't think this is the real team of destiny. That's Butler 2010-11. All those guys as seniors? Duck and cover, Hoops Nation.
