VU'S LITKA EARNS ACADEMIC AWARD--The NWI Times
Valparaiso senior guard Aimee Litka has been named this week's U.S. Army Horizon League Scholar Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance last weekend.
Litka averaged 17 points per game in Valpo's road split against Milwaukee and Green Bay. She scored 26 points, including 21 in the first half, in the 83-65 win at Milwaukee last Thursday. Litka made 6-of-9 3-pointers and also had five steals, five rebounds, and three assists against the Panthers.
In the classroom, Litka is enrolled in VU's sports administration program after earning her bachelor's degree in sports management.
