Top 5 Fallers This Season:
Cleveland St.: -143 (251)
Marshall: -139 (232)
Old Dominion: -128 (260)
East Tennessee St.: -127 (317)
North Texas: -124 (231)
Not even a surprising 81-74 victory at conference champion Northeastern could stop Old Dominion from finishing on this list. The Monarchs wrapped up their final season in the CAA at 5-25 and 3-15 in conference play. They now move to Conference USA looking for a new coach and trying to figure out how things went so terribly wrong. I know why Cleveland St. in on this list. Pomeroy’s preseason projection included a healthy Anton Grady. The sophomore is one of the most efficient players in the Horizon League, but he was limited to just six games and the Vikings couldn’t figure out another way to get victories, finishing 5-11 in Horizon play. CSU plays at UIC in the first round on the Horizon tournament.

LeBron, Heat roar back in 99-93 escape vs. Knicks, win streak at 14--South Florida Sun Sentinel
While Anthony was the lone Knick to score more than 14 points, the Heat had plenty of contributions even beyond James, Wade and Bosh. There was Shane Battier sparking the comeback by shooting 4 of 4 on 3-pointers, his only attempts of the game, Norris Cole stepping in when Mario Chalmers got in early foul trouble, and Chris Andersen offering a counter to the energy of Knicks center Tyson Chandler.Cleveland State Vikings lose regular-season finale at Loyola, 87-60--Cleveland Plain Dealer
