Detroit Misses Opportunity for Quality Win Before Horizon Tournament--Mid-Major Madness
Catholic 7 could be catalyst of another chain reaction--USA Today

Heat pre-game dunk routine to continue--South Florida Sun Sentinel
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra got on the defensive when asked if he was concerned about players risking injury during the dunk shows, calling the notion "absurd." Among the participants in the pre-game event are James, Chalmers, Norris Cole, Chris Andersen, Ray Allen and Mike Miller.

Spoelstra said he encouraged the competition because it avoids the players from being "a bunch of zombies" during pre-game.

"So we don't want them to warmup? I like seeing our guys in a lather [of sweat]," Spoelstra said.

"As long as I see a lather and they're ready to go, that's whole point."
