The ESPY award for a bad conference tournament game, though, goes to Valparaiso and Wis.-Green Bay. In a hideous display of basketball, the Crusaders prevailed 75-67 over the travel-weary Phoenix, who were perhaps stung by the retirement of Brett Favre on the same day.

The two teams, in a game that lasted more than two hours, combined for 51 fouls and 35 turnovers. Their aggregate field-goal shooting percentage was around 35 percent.
