Sunday also marked another solid performance from junior guard Bryn Forbes, and it had little to do with him making shots.

Late against Michigan, it was Forbes diving to the floor for a loose ball that led to the tying basket. It wasn’t his style, but it was exactly what Izzo is demanding from him.

“I think a lot of things are clicking for him,” Izzo said. “I want more out of Bryn. ... What I like most about Bryn is he wants to be great, he wants to please, he wants … he’s one of the best kids we’ve got as far as all that goes.”
