Evan Clayborne announces that he is leaving CSUSean’s Sport Chips — A look at incoming CSU basketball player Seth Millner--The Reserve News
Evan Clayborne, who will be a junior next season, announced his departure from CSU’s men’s basketball program Sunday. He did not say where he would attend next.
Clayborne, a 6’8″ forwards, played in 24 games last season and averaged 3.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. He provided size and physicality off the bench.
Although no reason was given for the transfer, Clayborne likely wants to find a better fit for his play style.
In an announcement on Instagram, Clayborne thanked his team and staff for time as a Viking.
“I’m almost sad my time here is ending but it’s time to look forward,” Clayborne wrote. “These last 2 years have been a ride and and wherever I go next I’ll take what I’ve learned with me.”
