Game 7: No. 9 Youngstown State Penguins (12-20, 5-13) vs. No. 1 Oakland Golden Grizzlies (24-7, 14-4), 5:30 p.m.
The Golden Grizzlies swept the season series.
Game 8: No. 10 Milwaukee Panthers (9-23, 4-14) vs. No. 2 Valparaiso Crusaders (24-7, 14-4), approx. 8 p.m.
The Crusaders swept the season series.

Not only does the Horizon split its quarterfinals between two days, the conference scheduled the 8/9 game as the nightcap of last night’s opening round doubleheader to give the No. 1 seed even more of an advantage. Tonight’s two winners will play Sunday’s victors in Monday’s semifinals in Detroit.
