5. Green Bay will play in the Horizon League title game for the first time since 1998 after Keifer Sykes scored 30 points in a 70-56 win over UIC. Valpo will host that title game on Tuesday night, as the Crusaders beat Cleveland State 60-55 in the other semifinal.

VU women fall: Host Youngstown State ran out to a 41-30 halftime lead en route to a 80-57 Horizon League women's basketball win over Valparaiso.

Heidi Schlegel led Youngstown State (20-9, 9-7) with 26 points and Latisha Walker contributed 14 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks.

The YSU defense held VU (6-23, 2-14) to 32 percent shooting. Freshmen Dani Franklin (15 points, 5 rebounds) and Jasymn Walker (15 points, 11 rebounds) were the two bright spots for Valpo.

The Crusaders head to Milwaukee on Monday to face the Panthers in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament. The teams split two regular-season meetings.
