Halftime

While I watch the mascot game, I'll take this moment to post some thoughts on the first half, which stands tied 31-31.

This game is all I was hoping for and then some. Valpo led most of the half. Both teams had their sloppy moments: Butler early, Valpo late. Fairly cold shooting for both teams: Butler early, Valpo late.

There was a mugging at half court that Valpo fans are still waiting for a hearing on, but otherwise not really too much to complain about.

For two teams so often accused of flopping, there were no charging fouls called.

Valpo has bent but not yet broken. There is still another half to play.
