Pair of ex-players on staff for PFW women
Purdue Fort Wayne women’s basketball added program alumnae Lauren Ross and Kendal Muxlow to its coaching staff for the coming season as assistants.
Ross played her final season of college basketball with the Mastodons in 2024-25 and became the first in NCAA history to lead the nation in 3-point shooting percentage (47.6%) and free-throw shooting percentage (94.8%). She was also the first PFW player in a decade to be named an Academic All-American.
Muxlow played for the Mastodons from 2019 to 2021 before medically retiring. She was a team manager and then in 2023-24 was the program’s director of operations.
