These 25 transfer portal commitments are flying too far under the radar--Busting Brackets

22. Allen Mukeba - Arizona State Sun Devils

Mukeba is finally transferring to a Power Five school. He started his career at Kansas City and then spent this last season at Oakland, where he put up huge numbers. The forward is a unique player. He is undersized at 6'6" but does all his work in the paint. He led the Horizon League in field goal percentage.

Arizona State lost a lot in the portal. They had to get more talented and athletic quickly. Mukeba fixes that problem and checks both of those boxes. The Sun Devils lost a lot of rim protection and rebounding in the portal. Mukeba checks those boxes as well, hauling in 8 rebounds and blocking over a shot per night. Will he succeed in the Big 12?

20. Jalen Jackson - Butler Bulldogs

The former Fort Wayne Mastodons star was one of the best offensive players in the transfer portal. He was particularly skilled at putting the ball on the floor, getting to the basket, and making minimal three-point shots. His offensive style resulted in the guard averaging 19 points per game for Fort Wayne.

Jahmyl Telfort, one of the Bulldogs' leading scorers from the 2024-2025 season, has exhausted his eligibility. Pierre Brooks can still come back from one more season if he chooses. Jackson is the next piece of the puzzle to try and get the Bulldogs back to the NCAA Tournament, and he is a big piece of that puzzle this year.

6. Brandon Noel - Ohio State Buckeyes

Noel might have the highest ceiling of any transfer in the portal. The forward is a scary offensive player because of his ability to put the ball in the basket from anywhere on the floor. The offensive numbers are eye-catching, and the rebounding numbers make Noel look like the whole package.

Noel is good and can be a star, but the last Wright State star to commit to Ohio State struggled. Ohio State loves mobile big men who can step out and hit a shot. Noel is a huge talent upgrade over the current big men on the roster. He will get the lion's share of the minutes and, with his ability, should shine.
