We can’t really wrap up this article without discussing the “junior” in Baldwin’s name. Patrick Baldwin, Sr., is the head men’s basketball coach at Milwaukee. The Panthers went 16-17 in Baldwin’s first season at the helm, including winning six of their last 10 Horizon League games. They’re currently undergoing some roster turmoil, though, as their top three players have all elected to transfer. In addition to that, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that three of the recruits signed for next fall have asked to be released from their letter of intent. That’s.... not great. Baldwin is UWM’s third coach in as many years due to LaVall Jordan leaving for Butler after just one season, so there’s a lot going on there. The question becomes whether or not the younger Baldwin is interested in playing for his father..... not to mention whether or not his father will be coaching on Milwaukee’s east side for one reason or another by the time 2021 rolls around.Pat Baldwin Basketball Team Camp Set For June 30--mkepanthers.com
