Valparaiso at Missouri State, Sat., 8 p.m., WatchESPN

Thing I’m looking forward to: Valparaiso picking up a big road win, then all the Oakland fans getting upset when we move the Crusaders up in the Power Rankings. Then again, the Bears aren’t so bad. KenPom projects this one to go in Missouri State’s favor, 70-69.
Quick Takes: Duke looks like a No. 1 Seed--Bracketville
It’s been one of those weeks in college hoops. Previously unbeaten and highly-ranked Saint Mary’s lost at home to UT-Arlington last night. We also watched San Diego State lose at Grand Canyon – which leaves us wondering if the Mountain West will again be a one-bid league. And then there was Valparaiso, which had the unfortunate task of visiting Kentucky the game after they lost to UCLA. Talk about bad timing.
