The Ducks shot a season-low 37.9 percent from the field, including 4-for-19 on three-pointers, and finished 16 points below their scoring average. Oregon’s three leading scorers — Joseph Young, Mike Moser and Damyean Dotson — were a combined 7-for-33 from the field. No starter scored in double figures as Oregon’s top three scorers came off the bench, led by Jason Calliste with 17 points.
Oregon closed within 58-50 on a layup by Dominic Artis with 10:54 left, but then Calliste was called for an intentional foul when he grabbed Eric Moreland on the way to the basket. Moreland made both free throws and Devon Collier converted a three-point play on the next possession to put OSU ahead 63-50.
Oregon got 47 points from its bench but only 25 from its starters. Calliste had 17 points in 25 minutes and Richard Amardi got 13 points in 17 minutes while being limited by foul trouble. Ben Carter scored 11 points after totaling 13 in his previous seven games.
