Miami Heat hits a roadblock against Detroit Pistons as 10-game winning streak ends--Miami Herald
Miami trailed 85-68 when Chris “Birdman” Andersen sparked a 20-6 run when he grabbed a Beasley miss as he was gliding to the basket and slammed it home. Norris Cole used his speed for a pair of back-to-back layups and then a Jennings turnover moments later led to an easy Cole layup which got the score back to single digits at 85-76 for the first time since 3:11 remained in the first half.
Winderman's view: Pistons 107, Heat 97--South Florida Sun Sentinel
-- Too many turnovers late.

-- And too much of a deficit to overcome.

-- Not that LeBron James ever stopped fighting.

-- Or that Michael Beasley gave up.

-- In fact, give Norris Cole credit, he was a one-man wrecking crew at the start of the fourth quarter, as LeBron watched from the bench.
...
-- LeBron, who was looking gassed at the time and had already asked out, was forced to the bench with his second foul with 3:04 left in the opening period.

-- That had Beasley as the featured scorer in a lineup alongside Allen, Birdman, Rashard Lewis and Norris Cole.

-- It was a lineup somewhat defensively lacking, with LeBron there to anchor.

Through all their early struggles, Heat went into the fourth quarter down 82-68 before point guard Norris Cole later scored three times at the rim to draw the Heat within 85-76.
Road trip provides Heat opportunity to correct minor issues--South Florida Sun Sentinel
"We own every loss," guard Norris Cole said. "You never just say, `Oh, we don't care, on to the next one.' We see the mistakes made out there even when we win. We take it on the chin, learn from it and move on to the next game."
