Valparaiso University's Agnieszka Kulaga has been named the U.S. Army Scholar-Athlete of the Week for her performances against nationally ranked Purdue and Notre Dame.
The senior guard averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.5 steals in the two games, including a 17-point, eight-rebound performance in Valpo's upset victory over Purdue.
Kulaga graduated from Valparaiso in three years with a 3.80 undergraduate grade-point average in international business and now has a 3.85 GPA in graduate school as she pursues an MBA.
