The Valparaiso women's basketball team has been picked to finish sixth in the Horizon League's preseason poll. VU received 179 points, while 10-time defending champ UW-Green Bay was picked to win the title again with 284 points. The Crusaders return 11 letterwinners and all five starters from last year's 14-16 squad.
