ANTOINE DAVIS finishes season as ncaa’s 2nd all-time leading scorer

Davis scored 2,734 points in his first four years with Detroit Mercy, putting him 22nd on the NCAA’s all-time scoring list. He may not catch Pete Maravich for the career mark — he would need to average over 30 points per game to do so — but posting his career average of 24.6 points per game would put him safely past Freeman Williams for second place all-time.

30. Detroit

Antoine Davis is back for his fifth season of eligibility as the active leader in career points at 2734, 933 of Pete Maravich’s all-time record. Asterisk it if you choose, but Davis has a real chance to crack the top ten this season. He’s got limitless range and a shifty handle and is a name worth monitoring.
