Mastodons make signing
New Purdue Fort Wayne women’s basketball coach Kate Peterson Abiad made the first signing of her tenure with the addition of 5-5 guard Meegan Fahy from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.
Fahy, a Park Ridge, Illinois, native spent two seasons with the Cougars, playing in 18 games and starting one. As a freshman in 2024-25, she played in 14 games and averaged 2.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1 steal while shooting 35.1% from the field in 12 minutes per contest.
She played in four games this past season.
