Mastodon men's, women's hoops schedules announced
The Horizon League announced conference schedules for men's and women's basketball Wednesday.
The Mastodon men open their league slate with consecutive games against the three lowest finishers in the conference last season: at Detroit Mercy on Dec. 5, home against Robert Morris on Dec. 8 and home against IU-Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI) on Dec. 11.
PFW will meet defending conference champion Oakland on the road Jan. 22 and at home Feb. 21. The latter is the only one of the Mastodons' 10 league home game set to be played at the Gates Center, with the other nine scheduled for Memorial Coliseum.
The PFW women open their conference schedule against last season's league cellar-dweller, Robert Morris, at the Gates Center on Dec. 4 and then face defending HL Tournament champion Green Bay, which beat the Mastodons three times last season, including in the conference tournament, at home Dec. 7.
PFW makes a return trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin, in the regular-season finale March 1.
The 2025 Horizon League Tournament will be played March 4-11.
