Oakland Golden Grizzlies - Nov. 11
(Last Year’s Record: 14-19, 8-10)

Ohio State will open up the 2020-21 season with a home game against the Golden Grizzlies — one of the cooler team names in college athletics. Oakland struggled a bit last year, finishing five games under .500 with just eight wins in the Horizon League. The team lost to Green Bay in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament, the Grizzlies have lost a ton of firepower this offseason, with six different guys entering the transfer portal. They will however return their leading scorer from last season in guard Rashad Williams. The rising junior averaged 19.5 points per game while shooting over 32 percent from deep in 2019-20. This will be the fourth time Ohio State and Oakland have met, with the Buckeyes winning all of the previous three matchups.
